Allison Atskinoudas / Chief Executive Officer

Rentomatic Rentometer - Allison Atsiknoudas - CEO

Allison Atsiknoudas brings nearly two decades of proven performance in leading organizations to her role as co-founder and CEO of Investment Instruments Corporation. A registered architect, experienced entrepreneur and former United States Army Officer, Allison has a strong track record of developing and executing innovative solutions for one-of-a-kind challenges. Allison has extensive experience in successfully developing initiatives valued between $1M-$100M. She is a former director of a $1 billion dollar property portfolio for the U.S. Government in Europe. Prior to co-founding Investment Instruments, Allison’s specific areas of expertise included; architectural design, capitalization planning, portfolio management and the structuring of software systems used for building & portfolio management.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami and a Master of Science in Architecture Studies in Design and Computation from MIT. She has received numerous awards for leadership, operational innovation and business execution.

Owen Johnson / President

Rentomatic Rentometer - Owen Johnson - President

As co-founder and President of Investment Instruments, Owen Johnson continues a successful career as an entrepreneur with a unique mix of experience in real estate, technology and business development. Having grown up with two Realtor parents, Owen is, himself a licensed real estate broker in Rhode Island and has spent the past five years investing in and managing residential properties. Owen’s professional history also includes founding and running Interdimensions Corporation, an interactive agency he grew to 60 employees in New York and Boston. He is also active in civic organizations as a founder of Connect Providence, a group helping to connect newcomers to the city of Providence, Rhode Island. Owen regularly mentors beginning entrepreneurs, and has been a team mentor for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology 50k Business Plan Competition and a judge for the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program Business Plan Competition.

Owen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Jeffrey Krause / Chief Technology Officer

Rentomatic Rentometer - Jeffrey Krause - CTO

Jeffrey Krause brings more than 12 years experience designing and building advanced web-based transactional systems to his latest co-venture, Investment Instruments. As co-founder and CTO of the Web 2.0 business, Jeffrey builds upon a long history of successful entrepreneurial ventures. After co-founding Blacksquare, an interdisciplinary design and technology firm, Jeffrey led advanced application development, dynamic data integration and all aspects of high-end code production. Jeffrey has pioneered work on the Web since 1994 and is a leading expert in bridging the technical and design worlds.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Architecture Studies in Design and Computation from MIT. He is a former Professor of the University of Hawaii, has won numerous Web and design awards and is widely published on the subjects of technology and design.

Julia Ogrydziak / Vice President of Creative & User Experience

Rentomatic Rentometer - Julia Ogrydziak - VP of Creative & UX

Julia Ogrydziak is the creative vision behind Rentomatic and the Rentometer. Prior to Investment Instruments, she co-founded Blacksquare and served as Principal for 12 years, working with clients such as Bank of America, News Corp., Fox Studios, The GAP, Microsoft, Peoplesoft, and Williams-Sonoma. Her work has received four Webby Awards and garnered media attention nationwide including PC Magazine, MSNBC, ABC News, AOL, USAToday and Wired. Her digital work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Julia is also a published author of web technologies.

Julia holds both physics and music degrees from MIT, where she was awarded the School Prize as Top Woman Graduate, and a Master of Design with Distinction from Harvard. She also spent three years as a researcher at the MIT Media Lab. Julia is a concert violinist and a leading proponent of contemporary and electronic music.
